People are rising up around the world on September 8th to demand real climate leadership from every level of government.
One week before civic leaders meet in San Francisco for the Global Climate Action Summit, we will mobilize to show that true climate leadership means nothing less than a fast, fair and just transition to 100% renewable energy, an immediate end to new fossil fuel projects and a break of all financial ties with the fossil fuel industry.
We’ll be demanding that local and civic leaders step up, rise up, and take action to stop climate change – every gathering, big or small, will help build momentum.
If you can be in San Francisco on September 8, everyone who sees this as an historic moment for climate action, please RSVP at https://ca.riseforclimate.org/
JUMP ON THE BUS to march in SF and take part in street art, music, chants and merriment. Sliding scale charter bus tickets: $5, $20, $50, $85 and $100.
Our being in SF powers the demand for a just, equitable and a resilient 100% renewable energy economy that rapidly expands economic opportunity, creates family sustaining jobs, and protects vulnerable communities, workers, and future generations.
