VENTURA COUNTIES '2010 Nuclear Weapons Tax Bill will be presented by local community leaders at a 12:30 p.m. press conference April 15, 2010 at the Ventura County Government Center. The public is encouraged to attend. As a citizen of Ventura County, this is what YOU and your fellow taxpayers contributed to the continued development of nuclear armaments in tax year 2009: $ 155,527,390.40Surprised? Shocked? In 2009, the average cost of nuclear weapons development to every man, every woman, even every child in the United States,was $171.02 Check example ![]() In Ventura County, the average cost per person was even higher, because VC per capita income, hence tax contribution, is higher than the national average.
