Principles
We are committed to
finding nonviolent solutions.
In a nuclear world
with terrorism and weapons of mass destruction,
war can not resolve
conflict.
We believe in the rule of law
to resolve disputes between nations.
In an interdependent world,
there can not be individual security
without mutual security.
True security requires the meeting
of basic human needs.
These include health, education, and
freedom from poverty,
environmental safety and shelter.
We will not become preoccupied with
an enemy.
We endorse the vision of our global
interdependence
and shared responsibility for the well-being
of the entire human family and the
planet.
Working together we
can make a difference!
