Elliott Adams – From military warrior to ambassador for peace.

Recently returned from 2 months in Palestine/Israel, serving as a Third Party Nonviolent Intervention team member with the Meta Peace Team, Elliott will show slides, describe his experiences and answer questions.

He will talk about building peace with TPIN (third party nonviolent intervention): the practice of third parties opening up space for dialog, reconciliation and peacebuilding. He will also speak about the use of International law, the collective wisdom of many cultures and nations agreeing to the fundamental basic rights of life.

Elliott Adams has transformed from a soldier to a nonviolent warrior, dedicating his life to stopping all war. He served as army paratrooper in Vietnam, Japan, Korea, and Alaska; National President of Veterans for Peace; President of school board, Mayor, President of Rotary, and Master of the Masonic Lodge. Elliot currently works with the Meta Peace Team and is co-chair of Creating a Culture of peace.
